Ruwenzori Sculpture Foundation

Dive were invited by the Ruwenzori Sculpture Foundation to submit proposals for a new foundry, gallery and artists in residence accommodation to be located in the foothills of the Ruwenzori mountains.

The site is made up of several parcels of land creating a curious boundary. Our proposal sets out a path, a sculpture trail through the site dividing it into two parts. One side is cultivated and the other remains wild. All the buildings are located along the path leading down to the river bank to the east. The buildings are designed to be constructed utilising simple local materials.
